On the way back from Lembang we made a side trip to a fall named CURUG CHIMAHI.
It takes about 40mins by car from the Bandung city.
If you are lucky, you will meet cute monkey.
After you keep going down and down,
you'll find a waterfall
Its height is 87m. Quite a volume of water and gives us an impact.
Does anyone know what the name of this bellshape flower is? I love this pale orange color
After cooled with the mist produced by the fall, my skin felt so nice and smooth.
It made me feel so refreshed and happy.
A 15 mins way of going down and up made me a little bit tired, but I liked it.
Everything here made me feel full of energy

Because we are still new comers here in Bandung, Indonesia,
information everything about Bandung City (Indonesia) is welcome.
Especially events information held in the city.
One of the helpful tool is this free newspaper, Bandung Infomedia.
You can find lots of restaurants or shops information.
I'm stll not sure exactly where I can get one.
Usually I look this way and that way in a lobby of a luxury hotel to get.
I also love this magazine, StarGlam.
Oh, it's upside down... Never mind.
StarGlam has less information, but gives me seasonal or trend info which are always interesting
(if only I could understand Indonesian language better...).
You also find cooking recipes.
I met the magazine at a cafe at first and then found out it's only one-year subscription.
I really wanted and soon applied for the subscription. Only Rp10,000 per year!
From the subscribers posts it seems many people in Jakarta enter it.
Should be more useful to people living out of Bandung city, maybe.
"Love life" is featured in this month's issue. phew!
As this is a Muslim country I always imagine everyone strictly adheres to Islamic law...
like no "Sex" talk...but I guess everyone's interest is the same in the world.

The funnest excrusion we've ever had in Bandung!
To the zoo
Kebun Binatang Bandung (Zoo) is located just next to ITB in the northern area of the city.
Here was opened in 1930s, so has a long history.
The quides are the girls we've met at the Bandung Hamamatsu Culture Fest in September.
Cute and cheerful, like other university girls all over the world.
Animals are so close!
Komodo dragon, which we were looking forward to see.
It took about 2 hours looking around the park and enjoying a boat riding.
You may want to enjoy camel or elephant riding when you have more time.
If my friends from Japan visited Bandung on Sunday, I would take them to the car free day in the Dago street,
walk through ITB (Institute of Technology Bandung) and then here to the zoo.
Should be a lot of fun!
We had such a enjoyable day thanks for the girls.
Thanks a million
We will learn Indonesian language to improve and to enjoy a chat more!

If you find the large shoes art, that is the start of the street.
Shoe shops and shops and shops...
I see a lot of Jakarta-registration-plate-vehicles parked on the street.
Crazy sale every day?
These pairs of sandals cost Rp15,000 per pair!
I got a pair of this, Rp100,000.
and this sandal, Rp80,000.
These shops are open to bargaining.
Of course, I enjoyed it, too.
If you visit this place when your country is summer season, it will be good idea to get lots of
thongs for your friends!
The culture center, Saung Angklung Udjo, is located in eastern Bandung, and here you can enjoy
You can meet a large bat!
Angklung is a traditional musical instrument made from bamboo.
Here allows us to learn how to be produced.
2-hour dance and music performance is held.
Everything is so interested from Mask Dance performance to Angklung music.
At theend of the show all the audience try playing Angklung. So fantastic!
